this is my workload for this semester..

these are my unfinished assignments for this semester:
(i have something to pass up each week =( )

1. 7minute informative speech (this monday due)
2. outline for biopsych presentation on Nature VS Nurture
3. campaign report for mass comm
4. biopsych presentation (the actual one)
5. 15minute? persuasive speech
6. 20minute commorative speech (im gonna die)
7. book review for mass comm
8. 1 hour experiment to attend this semester
9. 10page lab report on love (due 4weeks time)
10. some stress presentation?? for social psych

stupid stupid assignments-makes my life so miserable...

if only the excuse- "my dog ate my assignments" could work =(

a day in the life of college

college.my schedule is actually quite relaxed.

i only have classes from monday - wednesday..


Monday:

• 3 classes in a row from 10am - 6pm
• one break from 3pm - 4pm, and if im lucky, the classes would finish slightly earlier

Tuesday:

• 3 classes from 8am - 4pm
• one break from 1pm - 2pm

wednesday:

• only one class from 10am - 11.30am

the rest of the days:

• are spent on researches for assignments
• or chilling out
• or blogging..like now =P

anyway...here's a day in the life of a typical college day

• alarm goes off at 7am..hits snooze button..repeatedly.
• finally drag myself out of bed at 7.30am
• gets ready for college, breakfast..milo
• follows dad to lrt station at 8am
• hangs around, before boarding train at 8.30am
• just in time to catch the college feeder bus at 9am
• goes for classes
• shuttles in between main block and the other block for classes
• grabs a bite between class
• hangs out with friends till latest 5pm
• heads back home by bus and train
• bathes, and does all the necessary
• haves dinner
• does necessary college work
• -or- hang out at the mamak
• gets ready for bed
• SLEEP =)

The Hunt for Grandpa..

yesterday was the most hilarious day ever..

Instead of the usual SIC, since we had no sunday school yesterday, we went to CDM instead.

normally my grand dad follows me to church and halfway thru Mass, he would go outside of church to have roti canai at a nearby mamak and come back in time for when we left.

So as you know it, he left Mass at CDM. After Mass, we couldnt find him. he was missing. we looked up and down and everywhere- toilets, car parks, church, outside. After 15 minutes or so, i decided to try outside of church compound. There he was looking so lost and worried. he was as pale as the moon and he was so relieved to see me. he kept saying that he went to the toilet and he was so lucky that he found me. =P

The fuss everyone went thru over him did not die down as everyone kept picking on him after about how he just disappeared.

Later that night, we went to Ikea for dinner. My grandparents were supposed to sit and book the place while my parents ordered the food. We came back with the food only to find my grandfather went gallavanting-again. We ate..and ate..and ate..finished our foods and he still didnt come back. my grandma was hopping mad and jumpy about how she told him not to go the toilet just yet, to wait for my dad.

So once again, the hunt for grandpa was on. My brother checked the toilets and its surrounding area, i checked the floor twice, my grandma just went around aimlessly. After frantic looking, my grandma comes with a scowl followed by my pale faced grandpa clutching his heart. he once again kept saying that he went to the toilet.

turns out to be, he somehow got out of the toilet and wandered away from the restaurant area and out of Ikea...and out of the Ikea building.. Its still a question about how he went out of the building.

So yea, we had quite an adventure yesterday.

An honest mistake that led to so much more...

"one whole chocolate indulgence cake to go please. " Hands over credit card. signs receipts. grabs cakes and leaves.

forgetting my credit card.

only last night did i check my wallet and noticed a slot missing. started cursing. looked up-looked down-looked all around. empty.

omg. my key to unnecessary expenditures. my ka-ching. gone.

anyway, today, this morning, i psyched myself up to tell my dad.

"what time does secret recipe open?"
"why?"
"cause i left my card there."
.frown. "call the center."

called to find that my card was waiting there for me. phew.


i thought that was that when i collected it. but No.


Auntie-"how could you have been so careless?...*nag nag*"
Uncle-"anyone could have used it...*critic critic*"
Mum-"you better pray you find it..you're lucky this time."

On & On the broken records go...*sobs silently*

of Surprises & celebrations...

"y not surprise ellen with a goodbye party before she leaves?-a pot luck maybe?", i told my mum.

so therefore, yesterday, hasty last minute calls were made to relatives..auntie hazel would make mee siam and say karen ordered it..Auntie jeanne would come later with her delicious nasi lemak..

poor ellen, she slept at 2am last night, thinking she'd get sleep the next day, not knowing it'd be a long day of entertaining..

so today, woke up with extreme cramping due to the visiting of "auntie dot". slept off for awhile then woke up to go buy cake at secret recipe for ellen & karen. since i bought it, i had the honor to choose the flavor-my fave of course, choc indulgence..

came back to a full house..- Auntie Hazel's fly, Uncle Hedley's fly, Karen's fly..had nasi lemak with rendang and prawn sambal..yum-my! =)

after which cut cake..both Ellen and Karen were surprised as they thought the cake was for the other..in the picture, from left to right, is Karen, Ellen & Bryan.

i played Junior Monopoly with the kids. In the picture, is Me & Kimberly..i look sucky, yes- i know. =P

The year of the rat

today was quite a nice day =)

started the day by going for Mass..it would be the first time im going for an auspiscious CNY Mass celebration...was so interesting to see the chinese tradition incorporated into the Catholic Mass..
imagine joysticks being carried into the church, then after mass, there were the offerings for the altar, the "pai neen' of the altar and to the congregation..Here are some pictures of the altar..*beautiful no?*

Then came my mum's favourite part.. =P LION DANCE! im always fascinated by the way they sliced the fruits they "swallowed".

to me, i was brought up to be thankful for what i've got. and the best way to show your gratitude and the best way to start a day is with the Lord- no, dont get me wrong by thinking im all pious and all..Im just saying that, considering how far i've felt from my religion lately, its nice to feel Him close once again.at least for that moment.

after which came back to the house where my uncle's family was already waiting. had lunch. i always find it nice to have the whole family sitting down together for a meal. i guess thats another thing i was brought up with too.-family meals were always important. anyway, after which, we had few rounds of card games.

which leads me to--here. =)

blogging about my day. hope the rest of the day will be okay too.

Brand new start to a brand new year

i decided to move here- to blogspot.

i find it so much easier. yes, i take back my bad critic about it.

my gosh, in total, i now have..1, 2..FIVE blogs online! with one more on the way..Gah..how'l I manage all? haha..serves me right for being so ambitous, eh?

well, im now focusing on three..the other two are obsolete blogs. two out of five blogs are anonymous blogs to satisfy my secret keeping. haha.

so, here i am!
